Kristianne Koch

The photography exhibit "Makai" (Hawaiian for toward the sea) emerged from over 6,000 images taken by Kristianne as she sailed the Pacific from San Diego to the Marquesas, Tuamotus, Societies and Hawaii with her parner and best friend, Jim Riddle. She now resides in Hawaii where they made landfall last November after sailing over 8,000 miles in the South Pacific for 7 months. Kristianne is a world traveller and adventurer and has climbed in the Sierra Nevada, Sangre de Cristos, Cascades, and Volcanoes of Mexico. She has created images for clients such as Garmont/Morin, Outdoor Retailer, Children's Home Society and Venture magazine.
